HealthTerm® is fundamentally built to edit the most advanced terminologies. This can encompass working in separate projects, from which it is possible to edit parts of a terminology without this having any impact on the existing terminology until publication. These projects can be organised in workflows in which the access rights of different users or user groups to the specific project or namespace can be controlled. All of the necessary functionalities required to edit advanced terminologies are supported: relations grouping, validation tests, specific relation types within sub-hierarchies, assistance to establish relations via description logic, cardinality control, and much, much more. The strength of the dynamic data model is particularly revealed in connection with editing, where it is possible to set up a namespace for every classification/terminology, and then create the properties and facets that will apply to precisely this classification/terminology. In connection with the maintenance of terminologies and classifications, it is also possible to use HealthTerm's QA functionalities. Here it is possible to assign to a group of persons the rights to create synonyms for a term, choose another preferred term, or propose a new term, and in general approve or discard individual terms.
